I believe that proper and timely communication and dissemination of research results is equally important to conducting core research activities. Hence, I am highly active as a communicator—organising conferences and workshops, giving invited talks at various venues (both for research audiences and the general public), writing blog posts and tutorials, and participating in webinars.
Researching a result is not nearly as valuable without appropriately communicating it, and empowering others to effectively make use of it.
